Pro Tip: Revolution Messaging

Reps with Pro access can create messages to the team, to customers, and to leads. Reps without Pro access can receive messages, but cannot send them.

In addition to the Messaging area of Revolution, these messages can be generated from comp reports, customer manager, the leads list, and contact cards. Most of these areas are configuration-based, meaning that you can decided whether to turn the messaging feature on or off (which determines if your Reps see the option to message or not). For example, the Customer Manager report has a setting to either add/remove the checkboxes for sending a message: REV_CUST_MGR_SEND_MESSAGE. 

Be sure to also activate and customize the corresponding AutoResponder templates, so that recipients are notified upon receipt of messages:

To help your Reps get the most out of the Messaging feature, you can provide default content templates. These templates, created in the Freedom Back Office, provide messages that can be sent as-is or used as a thought starter to be modified by the Rep. To create a template, go to ADMIN > REVOLUTION > MESSAGE TEMPLATES.
